Mission Statement

The Purpose of APALSA shall be to promote the academic, social, and professional growth of its Members by providing academic support, creating lasting relationships with the legal community, and adhering to professional and ethical codes of conduct.  This organization recognizes the disparity between the number of minority students in law school and the relatively few number of minority partners in law firms and minorities sitting on the bench.  This organization aspires to decrease that disparity and is, therefore, dedicated to increasing the presence and numbers of Asian Pacific Americans in law schools and the Bar, as well as advocating on behalf of the Asian Pacific American community.
